D.E Master Blenders 1753 Amsterdam

Within a timeframe of only four months, the total design and execution of the interior of the new headquarters of D.E Masterblenders 1753 was realised at the Oosterdokseiland (ODE) along the IJ in Amsterdam. The new office is designed in line with the new identity of the company and its brands. Also the transition from a very traditional cellular office to open space working was made.
The two top floors house the hospitality centre. After entering the lobby at ground floor level guests are directed to the coffee and tea lounge on the 10th floor, where they are welcomed around a bar. This is also the place for more informal meetings. The floor can accommodate large groups for events such as seminars, coffee- and tea tasting sessions and product promotions. A lazy open staircase leads to the more formal meeting area on the 11th.
The floors below are organised according to the New Way of Working where each division has its own floor. The employees can choose their workplace according to the type of work they need to do. There are larger tables for group work; more private desks behind cabinets; stand-up workstations; open and enclosed meeting area’s and concentration and telephone booths.
